THRIFTY FINDS

So, we went out to do errands today and, as usual, stopped in at St. Vincent de Pauls' Thrift Shop.  Here is what came home with me today.

This adorable little pattern for little girls dresses.  I love this pattern because they made it so versatile.  Six versions are shown on the cover and there are 9 more inside.  I may not need another pattern until they outgrow size 6X!
Farberware pots!  I am not usually brand loyal but not when it comes to cookware!  I've been using Farberware for many, many years and it has stood the test of time.  I don't know if you remember my dear Luis, but he told me he needed new pots and pans.  I promised him Farberware if he would give me the summer to accumulate it.  Here are the first two!  One is a 2 quart and one is 2-1/2 quarts.  They were only $3.00 a piece.
Fabric!  I think the next two items are actually rectangular table cloths.  There is at least 2 to 2-1/2 yards of fabric in each one.  Here is the first - I fell in love with the colors and Flit squealed when she saw it (so embarrassing)!  She called first dibs, too!
I don't think it was used very much, there are no worn spots or fold creases.

I think this next one was a rectangular table cloth, too.  It's brand new and I love it!
The fabric is muslin and it looks like someone stamped it with fabric paint!  Not sure what to do with it yet, but Christmas is coming, LOL.

All told, I spent $10.00 today.  Pretty good, huh?

Love from Liri

  2. The music fabric is really cute. Flit and I might have had a fight over that if I'd been there! I expect eventuall we'll see something fantastic from both of those.

  5. The dress pattern is so cute. Love all the different versions of the dress. You can keep sewing all year with that pattern.
Cute tablecloths. I am sure we will see them made into something else soon.

  7. Good deals! I use farberware also and that was an extremely good buy. I love thrift shops that have low prices. There is one in Alabama, near where our son lives and we will be going there next week. I told DH we need to check it out every day. I'm always looking for fabric too! The one in our town doesn't have very low prices. :-(

  8. I love the little dressses. Even though I'm not very good at all with garments, I think you saved a bunch on those patterns. I was at one of my quilt shops and they had some little girl dress patterns and they were $15.00. I love the fabrics. Have fun with them. Connie204
